Nationally, the 50501 Movement is a decentralized, grassroots political initiative that emerged in early 2025, aiming to mobilize public opposition to the second Trump administration and its associated policies. The name “50501” stands for “50 protests in 50 states, one movement,” reflecting the group’s goal of nationwide, unified action. 50501 has mobilized millions of people for peaceful actions in all 50 states.
